R.I.P Doc Neeson

ARIA would like to express its sadness at the passing of singer-songwriter Bernard 'Doc' Neeson on 4 June 2014 at the age of 67.
Neeson was one of the founding members of The Angels in Adelaide in 1974, along with brothers Rick and John Brewster. The band were one of the top Australian pub rock groups from the late-1970s until their split at the beginning of 2000. They scored eight top ten albums and 21 top 50 singles during their initial run.
The Angels were inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame in 1998
Neeson succumbed to the effects of a brain tumour, passing away in his sleep on the morning of 4 June, 2014.
