Adele holds ARIA Singles Chart #1 for second week with Easy On Me

Adele holds the #1 spot on the ARIA Singles Chart for a second week with ‘Easy On Me’. Since topping last week’s chart, the comeback single has gone on to hit #1 around the world, including on charts in the UK, US, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, Singapore and across Europe. Of the British singer-songwriter’s previous two #1s, ‘Someone Like You’ (#1 Jun. ’11) spent seven weeks at #1, ‘Hello’ (#1 Nov. ’15) held the top spot for six weeks.

The reunited Swedish House Mafia make their first ARIA Singles Chart entry in almost a decade as they team up with The Weeknd for ‘Moth To A Flame’. Splitting in 2013, the trio regrouped in 2018. The new track becomes their first chart entry since ‘Don't You Worry Child’ (#1 Nov. ’12). It’s The Weeknd’s second Top Ten entry for 2021 after ‘Take My Breath’ (#9 Aug. ’21).

There’s new peaks on this week’s Singles Chart for The Anxiety’s ‘Meet Me At Our Spot’ (#11), Justin Bieber’s ‘Ghost’ (#15), Joel Corry & Jax Jones’ ‘Out Out’ (#31) and Walker Hayes’ ‘Fancy Like’ (#42).

On top of a #1 debut on the Albums Chart, Sydney trio Rüfüs Du Sol hit the Singles Chart for the first time in three years, debuting at #43 with ‘On My Knees’. It’s the third track to be released from the Surrender album and is their first Top 50 entry on the chart since ‘No Place’ (#41 Jun. ’18).

American R&B star Jason Derulo takes out his second Singles Chart Top 50 entry for 2021 with ‘Acapulco’. The track follows on from ‘Love Not War (The Tampa Beat)’ (#49 Jan. ’21) and has so far peaked at #11 in New Zealand.
