As It Was hit seven weeks at ARIA #1 for Harry Styles

Harry Styles’ ‘As It Was’ notches up its seventh week at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. After scoring 13 entries in the Top 15 last week, this week the former One Direction member has 13 releases across the Top 40, including three in the Top Ten, with ‘Late Night Talking at #5 and ‘Matilda’ at #9.

Kate Bush’s 1985 single ‘Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)’ has scored a new Singles Chart peak, as it re-enters at #2. Originally released as the first single from the album Hounds Of Love (#6 Nov. ’85), the track peaked at #6 in November 1985. The resurgence in popularity of the songs comes on the back of its inclusion in the fourth season of the Netflix series Stranger Things.

American rappers Kanye West and XXXTentacion debut at #21 with ‘True Love’. Originally appearing on West’s Donda 2 album, it’s slated to feature on the upcoming posthumous XXXTentacion album, Look at Me: The Album. ‘True Love’ samples the previous West single ‘Runaway’ (#46 Feb. ’11).

Scottish producer Calvin Harris hits the Singles Chart for the first time since 2020 with the Dua Lipa and Young Thug-featured ‘Potion’. It’s the first single released from Harris's upcoming sixth studio album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2. He last appeared on the chart with ‘Over Now’ (#17 Sept. ’20), a collaboration with The Weeknd.

Sleepy Hallow takes out his second Top 50 entry with ‘Die Young’. The track comes a year after the American rapper made his debut with ‘2055’ (#13 Aug. ’21).
