Ate marks the fifth visit to the top 50 for South Korea’s Stray Kids: Noeasy hit #14 in 2021, Maxident went to #4 in 2022, and both 5-Star and Rock-Starpeaked at #2 in 2023. In more new K-pop, BTS member Jimin’s new album Muse lands at #27. It’s his first album to chart here.
Glass Animals arrive at #5 with I Love You So F***king Much. It’s the English rock band’s fourth album and their second to crack the top 10: Dreamland reached #6 in 2020.
The soundtrack from the new hit movie Twisters debuts at #29. Twisters: The Album features tracks by Benson Boone, Luke Combs, Shania Twain, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, Miranda Lambert, Jelly Roll and more.
And Childish Gambino’s final album, Bando Stone And The New World, debuts at #30. It’s the soundtrack to the upcoming film of the same name and his fifth top 50 album. His best performer was Awaken, My Love!, which peaked at #9 in 2016.
On the Singles Chart, Shaboozey’s A Bar Song (Tipsy) holds at #1 for a fourth consecutive week. He is the second male artist to spend four or more weeks at #1 this year with their first breakout hit: Benson Boone topped the chart for six weeks in March-April with Beautiful Things.
Billie Eilish’s Birds Of A Feather steps up from #3 to #2. It’s her fourth single to reach the top 2 following Bad Guy, Everything I Wanted and What Was I Made For?.
