Jess Mauboy makes it eight

Jessica Mauboy scores her eighth top 10 album this week as Yours Forever debuts at #10 on the ARIA Albums Chart.

Jess first broke the top 10 in 2007 with The Journey, which reached #4. She then went on to hit #6 in 2010 with Get ‘Em Girls, #1 in 2012 as part of The Sapphires soundtrack, #3 in 2013 with Beautiful, #1 in 2016 with The Secret Daughter soundtrack, #2 in 2017 with The Secret Daughter Season Two soundtrack and #1 again in 2019 with Hilda. She also narrowly avoided the top 10 in 2008 with Been Waiting, which hit #11.

Yours Forever also debuts at #3 on the ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart, while Melbourne punks Split System make a blistering run to the #1 vinyl spot with Vol. 2

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign arrive at the top of the Albums Chart with Vultures 1. Until now, Ty Dolla $ign’s best chart result came with Beach House 3, which peaked at #37 in 2017.

Taylor isn’t the only tour this week, as the announcement of SZA’s 2024 Australian tour sends SOS from #10 to #5. It spent one week at #1 in late January last year and includes the singles Good Days, I Hate U, Shirt, Nobody Gets Me, Kill Bill and Snooze. Similarly, P!nk’s Australian tour pushes her 2023 #1 album TRUSTFALL from #36 to #9.

Closing things out on the Singles Chart, it’s a third week at #1 for Noah Kahan’s Stick Season.
