Justin Bieber returns to take out a second week at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with Justice. Bieber’s fourth chart-topping album debuted at #1 two weeks ago before dropping back to #2 last week. With ‘Peaches’ at #1 on the Singles Chart, this is the first time Bieber has topped both charts in the same week. Taylor Swift was the last artist to have #1s in the same week on both the Albums and Singles Charts; she had the #1 single with ‘Willow’ and the #1 album with evermore in December 2020. Justice equals My Worlds (#1 May ’10) as Bieber’s career best for most weeks at #1 on the Albums Chart.
Releasing seventh studio album, Dancing With The Devil…The Art Of Starting Over, Demi Lovato scores her third ARIA Albums Chart Top Ten entry. The album includes the collaboration with ARIA Award-nominated Sam Fischer, ‘What Other People Say’ (#39 Apr. ’21), as well as contributions from Ariana Grande, Saweetie, and Noah Cyrus. Lovato previously hit the Top Ten with Tell Me You Love Me (#8 Oct. ’20) and Confident (#3 Oct. ’15).
American hip hop artist Lil Tjay makes his ARIA Albums Chart debut with Destined 2 Win. His second album includes the hit single ‘Calling My Phone’ (#3 Feb. ’21) along with collaborations with Offset, Tyga, Saweetie, Polo G and more.
In a quiet week that included Easter, this week’s chart includes big moves in the Top Ten from The Weeknd’s The Highlights (up five to #3), Harry Styles’ Fine Line (up five to #5) and Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours (up seven to #10).
