Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide holds at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for the second week in a row.
Former Spice Girl Melanie C debuts at #5 with Sweat. It’s her ninth studio album and first to land in the top 10; until now, her best performer was her debut solo album, Northern Star, which peaked at #32 in 1999. As part of the Spice Girls, she scored four top 10 albums, hitting #1 in 2007 with Greatest Hits.
Mel C is the most successful of the Spice Girls as a solo artist, followed by Gerri Halliwell, who reached #22 in 1999 with Schizophonic.
Irish band Kneecap’s Fenian is new at #7. It’s their first appearance on the ARIA charts.
American country star Kacey Musgraves’ seventh studio album, Middle Of Nowhere, arrives at #17. She hit #33 in 2015 with Pageant Material, #25 in 2018 with Golden Hour, #9 in 2021 with Star-Crossed and #26 in 2024 with Deeper Well.
Aussie country singer Rachel Fahim is new at #22 with Who You Are, which also tops the Australian Albums Chart. It’s her first album and was written and recorded in Nashville, Los Angeles and Sydney.
Adelaide-born trials (real name Daniel Hendle Rankine) steps onto the Albums Chart at #24 and the Australian Albums Chart at #2 with his debut solo album Hendle.
Australian Idol runner-up Harlan Goode’s The Idol Collection debuts at #42 and #5 on the Australian Albums Chart. Winner Keysha Oayda’s The Idol Collection peaked at #31 last month.
On the Singles Chart, Olivia Dean’s Man I Need reclaims the #1 spot for the 21st non-consecutive week, unseating Rein Me In, her duet with Sam Fender, which slips to #2. Together, Man I Need and Rein Me In have been #1 for 24 of the past 25 weeks; Olivia Rodrigo’s Drop Dead broke the run for one week late last month.
Michael Jackson’s Thriller holds at #1 on the ARIA OnReplay Albums chart and Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s Beauty And A Beat stays on top of the OnReplay Singles chart. Jackson has four tracks in the top 10 of the latter: Billie Jean, Beat It, Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough and Human Nature.
