It’s all Miley this week, as the American superstar takes #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for the first time in a decade and extends her run at the top of the Singles Chart.
Miley storms onto the chart, debuting at #1 with Endless Summer Vacation, her eighth studio album. Recorded in LA and produced with Kid Harpoon, Greg Kurstin, Mike WiLL Made-It and Tyler Johnson, Endless Summer Vacation is her sixth top five album and her third #1 album here following Breakout in 2008 and Bangerz in 2013. The album includes collaborations with Brandi Carlile and Sia.
The new album marks Miley third week in total at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, as Breakout and Bangerz spent one week each on top. In the process, she bests her dad: Billy Ray Cyrus’ album Some Gave All spent two weeks at #1 in 1992 and he hasn’t returned to the summit since then.
Over on the ARIA Singles Chart, Miley’s Flowers holds at #1 for a ninth week, which is its entire chart run. The second single from Endless Summer Vacation – River – arrives at #22 and Miley lands another two tracks in the Top 100.
