It’s the second week on top of the ARIA Albums Chart this week for Ariana Grande and Eternal Sunshine, while Benson Boone dominates the Singles Chart for a third week with Beautiful Things. It’s the first song with “beautiful” in its title to reach #1 since Sean Kingston’s Beautiful Girls in 2007.
Justin Timberlake returns with Everything I Thought I Was, new at #23. It is his sixth studio album over the past 22 years and his first since Man Of The Woods, which peaked at #2 in 2018. All of his five previous albums reached the top 10 here, with FutureSex/LoveSounds spending one week at #1 in 2006 and The 20/20 Experience topping the chart for two weeks in 2013.
Deeper Well by American country star Kacey Musgraves debuts at #26. It is her fifth non-seasonal studio album, four of which have charted here. The most recent, Star-Crossed, became her first top 10 album in Australia, peaking at #9 in 2021.
Kacey scored her first hit single here last year, when her duet with Zach Bryan, I Remember Everything, climbed to #6. It’s at #11 this week.
Midnight Oil frontman and former federal politician Peter Garrett is new at #17 with his second solo album, The True North. His first solo effort, A Version Of Now, peaked at #3 in 2016. Midnight Oil has scored seven #1 albums, from Red Sails In The Sunset in 1984 to Resist in 2022, won 11 ARIA Awards and was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006.
On the Singles Chart, Fri(end)s by BTS member Kim Tae-hyung, better known by his professional name V, debuts at #49. He is the fourth member of BTS to score a solo hit here, following Jimin, Jin and Jung Kook.
