New music storms the Albums Chart

There’s plenty of new music breaking the Albums Chart this week with Lizzo, Steve Lacy, Beabadoobie and J-Hope making debuts while Harry Styles and Kate Bush continue to dominate.

Lizzo’s highly anticipated fourth studio album Special debuts at #2, up 17 spots on her last album, Cuz I Love You, which peaked at #19. The album features About Damn Time, which has charted in the top 10 on the Singles Chart for the past twelve weeks.

BTS member J-Hope debuts on this weeks chart with his sophomore album Jack In The Box, the first solo music released since BTS announced their indefinite hiatus in June. The band recently debuted at #1 with their ninth album Proof.

Beabadoobie also makes a debut with Beatopia, co-produced with The 1975’s Matt Healy and George Daniel, at #19 and #2 on the vinyl chart while Steve Lacy’s Gemini Rights debuts at #13.

Lacy’s single, Bad Habit, also breaks the top 10 on the Singles Chart at #9. The former guitarist of The Internet claims the biggest leap in the top 50, up from #36 last week
