Crowded House score their ninth Top Ten album on the ARIA Charts as they return at #2 with Dreamers Are Waiting. It’s the seventh studio album from the beloved Trans-Tasman band and their first in eleven years. The follow-up to Intriguer (#1 Jun. ‘10) features a reconstituted line-up of the band; founding members Neil Finn and Nick Seymour are joined by Finn’s sons Liam and Elroy, as well as Mitchell Froom (keyboardist and producer of the band’s first three albums). Between albums, Crowded House were inducted into the ARIA Hall Of Fame in 2016, coinciding with four shows on the Sydney Opera House forecourt.

American punk band Rise Against take out their fifth Top Ten album with Nowhere Generation. The group’s first album in four years is their ninth studio album. Between Wolves (#5 Jun. ’17) and Nowhere Generation, the band released The Ghost Note Symphonies, Vol. 1 in 2018, which reimagined tracks from their catalogue.

Since I Left You, the debut album from Melbourne act The Avalanches, hits the ARIA Top Ten for the very first time at #5 following a reissue to mark its 20th Anniversary. First hitting the chart at #29 in December 2000, the album earned the group four ARIA Awards in 2001 including Best Dance Release and Producer Of The Year. It hit its previous Albums Chart peak of #15 in February 2017 following a release on vinyl. The 20th Anniversary Edition includes bonus discs with remixes by the likes of MF Doom, Stereolab, Cornelius, Prince Paul and more. Since I Left You hits #1 on this week’s ARIA Vinyl Albums Chart.

Taylor Swift’s evermore jumps back into the Top Ten for a twelfth week, hitting #8. The move comes following the release of the album on vinyl. Released in December 2020, evermore spent four straight weeks at #1.

British indie trio Wolf Alice grab a new career charts peak as they debut at #9 with Blue Weekend. The follow-up to 2017’s Visions Of A Life is the band’s first Top 50 entry since their debut, My Love Is Cool (#41 Jun. ’15).

American rappers Lil Baby and Lil Durk join forces for the collaborative album, The Voice Of The Heroes. It becomes the third Top 50 entry for Lil Baby, his most recent being with My Turn (#20 Mar. ’20). It’s Lil Durk’s Top 50 debut. The Voice Of The Heroes includes appearances by Travis Scott, Meek Mill, Young Thug and more.
