Moves for Drake, Dean Lewis, Juice WRLD and more!
For the eighth straight week, Sydney’s 5 Seconds Of Summer top the ARIA Singles Chart with ‘Youngblood’. The track joins Austin Tayshus’ ‘Australiana’. Savage Garden’s ‘Truly Madly Deeply’ and Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ in a tie for the second most weeks at #1 on the chart.
After scoring eleven entries in last week’s Top 50, Drake’s dominance has reduced this week, with seven tracks remaining in the chart. His highest entry this week comes with ‘In My Feelings’. After debuting at #15 last week, it’s jumped up 13 spots to #3 to become the Canadian rapper’s ninth Top Five entry.
In its second week in the Top 50, Dean Lewis’ ‘Be Alright’ moves up 14 spots to #5, becoming the Sydney singer-songwriter’s first appearance in the ARIA Top Ten.
Having dropped to #10 last week, Clean Bandit’s ‘Solo’ returns to its former peak of #7.
Seven weeks into its run in the chart, Juice WRLD’s debut entry ‘Lucid Dreams’ hits the Top Ten for the first time at #8. It has also cracked the Top Ten in the US and New Zealand.
With a move of ten spots, Israeli musician/producer Dennis Lloyd hits the Top Ten for the first time with ‘Nevermind’. The track debuted on the chart in April and previously peaked at #19 for three weeks.
Peking Duk’s ‘Reprisal’ moves up twelve to hit at new peak at #12.
This week’s chart also includes new peaks for Martin Garrix’s ‘Ocean’ (#18), NOTD’s ‘I Wanna Know’ (#19), Jess Glynne’s ‘I’ll Be There’ (#26), Jonas Blue’s ‘Rise’ (#27) and Panic! At The Disco’s ‘High Hopes’ (#38).
Debuts:
#46: Ella Mai ‘Boo’d Up’ – British R&B singer-songwriter scores her debut entry in the ARIA Top 50 with ‘Boo’d Up’. The track, which originally appeared on Mai’s third EP, Ready, has recently hit the Top Ten on a number of charts in the US. A remixed version of the track features Nicki Minaj and Quavo from Migos.
