Melbourne’s ever-prolific King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard release their 18th studio album, Butterfly 3000. It’s the group’s second album for 2021, following L.W. (#4 May ‘21) and comes with no singles released prior to the LP. The band’s previous album became their 12th Top Ten.

American indie rock icon Sleater-Kinney returns with tenth album, Path of Wellness. It’s their third album since reuniting in 2014 and the group’s first since the departure of long-time drummer Janet Weiss. Previous album The Center Won't Hold became Sleater-Kinney’s first ever ARIA Top 50 entry when it peaked at #34 in August 2019.

Maroon 5 releases Jordi, their seventh studio album. The follow-up to Red Pill Blues (#7 Nov. ‘17) includes a host of guests including Megan Thee Stallion, Stevie Nicks, Juice WRLD and H.E.R. Two of the album’s singles, ‘Memories’ and ‘Beautiful Mistakes’ have hit the Singles Chart Top 50.

American punk survivors AFI release their eleventh album, Bodies. Between 2017’s self-titled album and the new LP, the band released the EP The Missing Man. Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins co-wrote the track ‘Far Too Near’.

Following Strange Little Bird (#9 Jun. ‘16), Garbage releases No Gods No Masters. It’s the seventh studio album from the alt-rock veterans. All six of their previous studio albums have hit the ARIA Top Ten including chart-topper Beautiful Garbage (#1 Oct. ‘01).

Hip hop trio Migos release their fourth album, Culture III. The follow-up to Culture II (#13 Feb. ‘18) includes collaborations with Drake, Cardi B, Polo G, Future, Justin Bieber and more.

Welsh singer and songwriter Marina releases her fifth album, Ancient Dreams In A Modern Land. Coming two years on from Love + Fear (#22 May ‘19), it could become her fourth Top 50 entry in Australia.

American rapper Polo G releases his third album in as many years, Hall Of Fame. The follow-up to The Goat (#10 May ‘20) features appearances by The Kid Laroi, Lil Wayne, Roddy Rich, Nicki Minaj, Young Thug and more.

Perth indie-punk band Sly Withers release their second album, Gardens. Coming five years on from the band’s self-titled debut, it features the singles  ‘Cracks’, ‘Bougainvillea’ and ‘Clarkson’.
