Australian rapper The Kid Laroi releases his final installment in his trilogy of mixtapes, F*ck Love 3. This follows his 2020 debut F*ck Love (Savage) (#1 Feb ‘21), which received ARIA Award Nominations for Best Male Artist, Best Breakthrough Artist and Best Hip-Hop Release. The Kid Laroi - real name Charlton Howard - is currently the youngest Australian solo artist to reach #1 on the ARIA Charts. The lead single ‘Stay’ (#1 Jul ’21) has debuted at #1 on the ARIA Charts and features a collaboration with Justin Bieber.
Brisbane-based indie band The Jungle Giants release their fourth studio album Love Signs. Four years since Quiet Ferocity (#11 Jul ‘17), the album includes the ARIA Award-nominated single, ‘Heavy Hearted’ (#62 Feb ‘20) along with ‘Send Me Your Loving’ (#55 Feb ’21), ‘In Her Eyes’ and ‘Treat You Right’.
Wergaia singer-songwriter Alice Skye releases her second studio album I Feel Better But I Don’t Feel Good. Named after her 2019 single, it includes the tracks ‘Stay In Bed’, ‘Grand Ideas’ and ‘Party Tricks’ and production from Jen Cloher.
Grammy Award winner Leon Bridges releases his third studio album Gold-Diggers Sound. The American R&B/Soul singer-songwriter returns three years after his ARIA Top Ten album The Good Thing (#8 May ‘18), including singles ‘Why Don’t You Touch Me’, ‘Motorbike’ and ‘Sweeter’ featuring American musician and rapper Terrace Martin.
Brittany Howard releases Jamie Reimagined, an album featuring new recordings of her 2019 solo debut Jamie. The lead vocalist of Alabama Shakes, Howard received two Grammy nominations for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for the original album. Jamie Reimagined features a large group of collaborators including Childish Gambino, Bon Iver, BadBadNotGood, Laura Mvula and Little Dragon.
Twenty two-time Grammy Award-winner Kanye West looks set to release his tenth studio album DONDA. The influential American rapper/producer follows his 2019 gospel album Jesus Is King (#1 Nov ‘19), which was his third #1 album on the ARIA Charts. Named after Kanye's late mother Donda West, the album is rumoured to include a huge range of collaborations with artists such as Lil Baby, Future, Ty Dolla $ign, Playboi Carti and Travis Scott.
