The Promoter is the Australian Recording Industry Association Ltd (“ARIA”), located at Level 4, 11-17 Buckingham St, Surry Hills NSW 2010. The Promoter’s ABN is 72 002 692 944.

COMPETITION PERIOD

The Competition commences on 25 September 2025 at 10:30am (AEST) and closes on 10 November 2025 at 11:59pm (AEDT) (“Competition Period”).

ENTRY ELIGIBILITY

  • Entry is open to persons aged 16 years and older as at 10 November 2025 who reside in Australia and have:
    • a valid email address; or
    • a valid social media account with an eligible social media platform, with their security and privacy settings enabled to allow Promoter to contact the entrant via direct message if the entrant is determined as a Prize winner; and
    • an Australian postal address.
  • Entries for people aged under 18 years must be submitted by their parent or legal guardian on behalf of the minor. The parent/legal guardian of the entrant must read and accept these Competition Terms and Conditions on behalf of the minor. The Promoter may request additional confirmation from the parent/legal guardian of the prize winner (if aged under 18).
  • Eligible social media platforms include Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X/Twitter.
  • Entrants must be contactable by the Promoter in order to be able to claim the Prize by 5:00pm (AEDT) 14 November 2025. If the Promoter cannot contact a winning entrant, that entrant will forfeit their Prize.
  • Employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, Phonographic Performance Company of Australia Ltd, and its respective contractors and agents are ineligible to enter this Competition.

METHOD OF ENTRY

During the Competition Period, entrants must submit a valid entry via the designated Competition entry form located on the ARIA Awards public voting website located here: https://www.aria.com.au/vote

 

To submit a valid entry, entrants must:

  • Submit their votes for the 2025 ARIA Awards public voted awards categories; and
  • Complete the Competition entry form in full; and
  • answer in the designated textbox in 25 words of less “tell us who you voted for and why”.

Entrants must also agree to adhere to these Competition Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Collection Statement.

NUMBER OF ENTRIES

Entrants may only submit one entry per valid email address/social media account per day. Entrants with multiple accounts may be disqualified. Computer generated entries, entries generated by script, bots or other automated means or entrants with multiple aliases may be ineligible.

JUDGING DETAILS

  • This is a game of skill. Chance does not play a part in determining the Prize winners.
  • The Promoter will select the winners that it deems has met the entry eligibility criteria and displayed the best creativity, authenticity and uniqueness in their entry response.
  • The Promoter will select the 15 x best entries that meet the criteria above from all valid entries received during the Competition Period.
  • The judging will take place on 11 November 2025 at 10:30am (AEDT) at the Promoter’s offices at Level 4, 11-17 Buckingham St, Surry Hills NSW 2010.
  • The Promoter’s decision is final in relation to the determination of the Prize winners and no correspondence will be entered into.

PRIZE DETAILS

  • There are 15 x prizes available. The winners of the Prize will each receive one (1) set of Belkin noise cancelling headphones (RRP $89.95).
  • The prize pool is valued at $1,349.25 AUD.

PRIZE RESTRICTIONS

  • Once awarded, the Promoter is not liable for any Prize that has been lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way.
  • The Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.
  • The Prize winner may be required by the Promoter to provide photographic evidence of identity and age verification.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS

The Prize winners will be notified on 12 November 2025 by email or direct message via the Prize winner’s social media account as supplied in the Competition entry form. The Prize winner must contact and provide the requested details to ARIA by 9:00am (AEDT) on 14 November 2025, or the Prize may be forfeited (see “Unclaimed Prizes” below). The Prize winner may be asked to provide photographic identification or other evidence to verify their identity and age.

PUBLICATION OF WINNERS

The Prize winner’s names and locality will be posted on the ARIA website within fourteen (14) days of judging. Each winner’s name and locality may also be published on ARIA’s social media channels.

If an entrant is not willing for these uses or disclosures to occur, the entrant cannot participate in the Competition and will not be eligible to win the Prize.  

UNCLAIMED PRIZES

  • If for any reason whatsoever the Prize winner is unable to be contacted or does not claim the Prize (in whole or in part) by 9:00am (AEDT) on 14 November 2025, then the Prize will be forfeited by that Prize winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the Prize.
  • Unclaimed prizes will be allocated to the next-best entrant as deemed by the Promoter. The new Prize winner will be notified by email or direct message via social media platform that the person specified in their Competition entry form. The new winner’s name and locality will be published on the ARIA website.

TAMPERING AND OTHER MATTERS

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or for submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this Competition, or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the administration of this Competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions network congestion or for any other reason.
  • If a prize winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent of guardian.
  • The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt of the entry by the Promoter and not time of transmission by the entrant.
  • The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition is final and binding on each entrant and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The Prize winner is responsible for any taxes that may be payable as a result of accepting a Prize. The Prize winner is responsible for obtaining their own financial advice before accepting a Prize.
  • Entries that contain offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, threatening, violent, obscene, deceptive or inappropriate material or entries that infringe any third party rights (including privacy or intellectual property rights) will not be accepted by the Promoter as a valid entry.

RELEASE AND INDEMNITY

By entering the Competition, each entrant agrees that Belkin Limited, the Promoter, its licensors, members, respective parent companies, affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, contractors and employees shall not be liable for injury, loss (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or damage of any kind resulting from participating in this Competition or from the acceptance or use/misuse of the Prizes awarded. This includes, without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. 

TERMINATION

The Promoter may (subject to State Regulations) vary the terms of, or terminate, this Competition at any time at its absolute discretion without liability to any entrant or other person. The Promoter will not award the Prizes if the Competition is terminated.

PUBLICITY

The Promoter and Belkin Limited may publicise, publish, broadcast and communicate to the public the names, likeness and locality of any entrants for the Competition or matter incidental to the Competition.

FAILURE TO ENFORCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

A failure by the Promoter to enforce any one of these Terms and Conditions in any instance(s) will not give rise to any claim or right of action by any other person or entrant.

COPYRIGHT

By entering this Competition all entrants:

  • license to the Promoter all rights including present and future copyright, to use their entry (in whole or in part) in all media (including, without limitation, the internet) and whether in existence now or created in the future;
  • agree not to assert any moral rights in respect of their entry (wherever and whenever such rights are recognised) against the Promoter, its assigns, licensees and successors in title; and
  • undertake to the Promoter that their entry is not in breach of any third party intellectual property rights.

PRIVACY AND CONTACT DETAILS

  • It is each entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter if the entrant’s contact details or social media handle as provided in the Competition Entry form change during the Competition Period or at the time of the awarding of the Prize.
  • Any personal information supplied by entrants as a part of this Competition will be used by the Promoter in accordance with the ARIA Privacy Policy (available here: https://www.aria.com.au/privacy-policy). By making a valid entry, entrants agree to be bound by the Privacy Collection Statement available via the Competition entry webform and the ARIA Privacy Policy. The Promoter will also provide each Prize winner’s personal information to Belkin Limited and their agents in order to fulfil the delivery of the Prize to each Prize winner. Entrants must accept this disclosure to Belkin Limited and their agents as a condition of entry into the Competition.
  • All entrants may have their details removed from the Promoter’s database by contacting the Promoter by sending an email to privacy.mail@aria.com.au. If an entrant requests the removal of their details prior to the conclusion of the Competition Period and/or the awarding of the Prize, the entrant will forfeit their right to claim any Prize.
