ARIA AMPLIFIED SUPER FAN ZONE 2024 TICKET AND ATTENDANCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions apply to tickets and attendance at the ARIA Amplified Super Fan Zone (the Event).

 

Please read these Terms & Conditions before attending the Event. By attending the Event, you and your guest confirm that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

 

Terms and Conditions

 

1. By attending the Event, all ticket holders agree to the Hordern Pavilion’s Conditions of Entry as published on the Hordern Pavilion’s website and any conditions imposed by Australian Recording Industry Association Ltd (ABN 72 002 692 944) (ARIA).

2. All attendees at the Event are required to the comply with the ARIA Behaviour Benchmarkas published on the ARIA website.     

3. Tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, sold, offered for resale or used for any incentives, promotions, advertising or competitions without the express written permission of ARIA. ARIA may request the cancellation of any tickets that breach this condition. Tickets cannot be redeemed for cash.

4. Attendees at the Event must be aged 16 years or over as of 20 November 2024. Any minors in attendance at the Event without their parent or legal guardian, must obtain consent from their parent or legal guardian to attend and participate in the Event by signing a release form. The release form must be presented at registration alongside valid photographic identification. Minors will not be admitted to the Event without a signed release form.

5. All attendees must bring a valid form of photographic identification with them to the Event and may be required to show this identification upon registration or at any time during the Event. Approved photographic identification, includes:

    1. A current driver’s or rider’s license or permit (issued by an Australian State or Territory or any foreign country)
    2. A current Australian passport or a current foreign passport issued by another country
    3. A current proof of age card issued by a public authority of the Commonwealth or of an Australian State or Territory for the purpose of attesting to a person’s identity and age.

Copies or photographs of identification will not be accepted. Any attendee who does not have valid photographic identification or insufficient photographic identification will not be permitted to enter the Event.

6. Minors will not be able to access or participate in parts of the Event, if such parts of the Event are held in locations where admission is restricted to adults only. Attendees aged under the age of 18 that attempt to enter any licensed areas or areas restricted to adults only will be ejected from the Event immediately with no right to any exchange or compensation.

7. Attendees aged over 18 years of age will require approved photographic identification if they wish to consume alcohol in designated parts of the venue where alcohol is served. Any person found to be supplying or buying alcohol for a minor will be ejected from the Event with no right to any exchange or compensation, and the person will be handed over to the police.

8. If you are issued with a wristband at the Event, you must leave your wristband on for the duration of the Event. Wristbands that have been removed or damaged are void and will not be accepted. Please also retain any ticket/digital ticket issued by ARIA or Ticketek for the duration of the Event.

9. ARIA reserves the right to vary or substitute artists that are scheduled to appear at the Event, seating and/or viewing arrangements at the Event and the Event schedule, without any liability to any attendee at the Event. ARIA does not guarantee the appearance of any particular artist.

10. All attendees at the Event agree that the Event will be filmed and that television cameras and photographers may at times obstruct their view. As the Event will be filmed: (i) each attendee agrees that their likeness, voice and/or image may be photographed or filmed at the Event and attendees consent to such photographs and recordings and the attendee’s name and social media handle being used by ARIA and its licensees and news outlets, in any media, worldwide and in perpetuity without any remuneration for such use; and (ii) attendees must remain in their designed seats/areas as required during the filming of the Event to avoid filming interruptions; and (iii) attendees must follow the reasonable instructions issued by the ARIA, Event staff, venue staff and security at the Event. If an attendee is aged under 18 years, the minor’s parent or legal guardian agrees to the foregoing on behalf of the minor.

11. Professional cameras and video/audio recording equipment is prohibited. Flash photography is not permitted. Any images or video captured at the Event that are captured with a camera, mobile phone or other wireless device cannot be used for any purpose other than for private and domestic purposes. Attendees must not license, sell, publish or otherwise commercially exploit photographs or video captured at the Event.

12. Mobile phones and other telecommunications devices should be on silent during any filming.

13. If any ticket holder arrives late to the Event, every effort will be made to allow that person to enter, but it is possible that person may not be admitted until a suitable break in the filming (if any).   

14. Staff at the venue and ARIA reserve the right to refuse entry to, or to remove from the Event and the venue any attendees:

a
who appear, in their reasonable opinion, to be intoxicated, drunk or disorderly;
b
whose conduct is unlawful or offensive;
c
who display or wear any signage, banners, symbols, flags, posters or slogans containing offensive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate language, symbols or imagery;
d
who display or wear any commercial or political materials, slogans or imagery;
e
who attempt to distribute, offer or make available any goods or marketing, political or other materials at the Event; or
f
who are otherwise not entitled to attend the Event.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

15. Attendees at the Event will be subject to security screening at the Event. Due to the security checks at the Event, please arrive at the venue on time. Bags and other items may be subject to inspection and attendees may be searched. Ticket holders and any persons who refuse inspections or searches may be denied entry to the Event. Items which, in the opinion of security staff, ARIA or the venue, have the potential to cause injury, offence or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person will not be permitted into the Event. These include controlled, dangerous or illegal substances, alcohol and weapons of any description, drones and any other items considered to have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance, offence or inconvenience to any other person. The use of illicit substances is prohibited. 

16. Any attendee who acts aggressively, in a manner that is offensive, contrary to law or otherwise causes a disturbance or who refuses to comply with reasonable requests from security staff, ARIA or the venue may be removed from the Event and the venue, at the discretion of security staff, ARIA or the venue, and without compensation.

17. An attendee may be denied entry into, or removed from the Event where ARIA, venue security, or the Hordern Pavilion has reasonable grounds to do so, including where an attendee breaches these Terms & Conditions or the Hordern Pavilion’s Conditions of Entry .

18. ARIA may cancel, delay, interrupt, or stop the Event due to adverse weather, security concerns or for any other causes beyond ARIA’s reasonable control. In such cases, the ticketholder cannot make any claims against ARIA and ARIA has no liability to any ticketholder in such circumstances.

19. A ticket holder will be not entitled to receive any compensation if they breach these Terms & Conditions (including to avoid doubt if the ticket holder is denied entry or removed from the venue).

20. All attendees at the Event acknowledge that there may be risks associated with attending and participating in any aspects of the Event and attend the Event at their own risk. These risks include (by way of example and without limitation), the risk of injury, contracting COVID-19 or other viruses or ailments which may be transmitted where large numbers of people are in attendance. ARIA and the venue will take all reasonable measures to look after attendees at the Event, but all attendees accept the risks associated with attending the Event. In order to minimise the risks, all attendees must follow the safety protocols in place at the venue and follow all guidance (including public health orders and recommendations) relating to the transmission of COVID-19 and other viruses and communicable diseases. By attending the Event, all attendees (and their parents or legal guardians if the attendee is a minor) acknowledge and accept these risks (whether before, during or after the Event) in their personal capacity and on behalf of any minor as applicable.

21. To the extent permitted by law, attendees at the Event are responsible for any costs incurred in the event of any accident or incident where they require medical, ambulance or surgical treatment.

22. Attendees bring personal effects to the Event at their own risk. Attendees are responsible for their own personal possessions and must not leave bags or possessions unattended at any time. ARIA and the venue will not be responsible for any damage to or loss or theft of an attendee's personal property. Any lost property which is handed in during the Event will be provided to the Event venue if not claimed by the end of the Event and will be handled in accordance with the venue’s lost property policies.

23. Although all reasonable measures will be undertaken to safeguard attendees at the Event, illness or injury can occur. To the extent permitted by law, ARIA disclaims all liability for any loss, illness, injury or damage to any person or property at the Event.

24. Unless required by applicable law, ARIA is not responsible or liable for any costs associated with travel, accommodation, loss of enjoyment or any other expenditure incurred by an attendee at the Event, even if such costs arise as a result of the cancellation, postponement/rescheduling or changes to the Event. These Terms & Conditions do not exclude, restrict or modify the application of any provision of the ACL, where to do so would either contravene the ACL or cause any part of these conditions to be void. Any provision of these conditions which is invalid must be read down to the minimum extent necessary to achieve its validity or be severed from these conditions without invalidating or affecting the remaining clauses in these conditions.

25. By attending the Event, attendees consent to the collection and use of their personal information by ARIA and Ticketek, and the disclosure of information between ARIA and Ticketek for the purposes of ticketing, Event production and management, Event safety, Event information and Event related surveys. ARIA and Ticketek may from time to time disclose your personal information to third party service providers, for example IT service providers, in order to facilitate the purchase, distribution and administration of the ticket. Please refer to the ARIA Privacy Policy. For tickets generated via Ticketek, please refer to Ticketek’s Privacy Policy for further information.

26. ARIA may vary these Terms & Conditions at any time by updating them on this weblink and/or the ARIA website. Any variations will only apply to ticket purchases made after these Terms & Conditions have been updated and will not apply retrospectively.
