ARIA HALL OF FAME TICKET PURCHASE – PRIVACY COLLECTION STATEMENT
Australian Recording Industry Association Ltd (ABN 72 002 692 944) (ARIA) is committed to ensuring that all personal information that you provide to ARIA remains secure and is only used for the purposes for which it is collected. ARIA handles all personal information collected in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Collection Statement outlines how ARIA meets the obligations that are set out in the APPs.
Personal Information
In this form ARIA is requesting certain personal information about the purchaser of the ticket/s, as well as the individuals attending the 2026 ARIA Hall of Fame event (the Event). This includes contact information (such as names, residential addresses, phone and email contact details), banking or credit card details and information about an individual's dietary requirements and food allergens.
Purpose
The primary purpose for which ARIA is collecting your personal information is: (i) to process and manage your ticket purchase order; (ii) to facilitate entry to the venue; (iii) to allocate seating and filming/photography at the Event; (iv) for the conduct of data analytics and research via surveys; and/or (v) to contact you about any matters relating to your order or attendance at the Event.
Use and Disclosure
If you choose to purchase Event tickets, ARIA will use the information provided for the primary purpose set out above. Through carrying out this purpose, ARIA may disclose the personal information:
ARIA is utilising the Humanitix platform to facilitate the ticketing for the Event. Please refer to the Humanitix Privacy Policy for information about how it handles and uses your personal information. ARIA uses Fat Zebra as its payment gateway, with payment processing services provided by Fiserv. Raw data and personal information collected via the Humanitix platform will be accessible by authorised ARIA personnel, who will only use this information for the approved purposes set out above and are bound by confidentiality constraints. ARIA will not provide the personal information collected from you to anyone else, unless otherwise indicated above, you have given consent for us to do this, or we are authorised or required to do so by law. Your provision of personal information to these sites means that your personal information may be transferred to overseas locations such as New Zealand, United States and the United Kingdom. Please refer to the respective privacy polices of these third party providers.
ARIA’s staff and contractors are bound by confidentiality constraints as a part of their engagement with ARIA. ARIA will not provide the personal information collected from you to anyone else outside of ARIA for any other purposes not specified in this collection statement, unless you have given consent for us to do this, or ARIA is authorised or required to do so by law.
ARIA may from time to time disclose your personal information to third party service providers, for example IT service providers, in order to facilitate the purchase, distribution and administration of the ticket purchase and fulfilment.
If you don't provide ARIA with the personal information requested or the information provided is incorrect or incomplete, then ARIA may not be able to process and/or fulfil your ticket purchase order.
Storage
ARIA will take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. All personal information will be stored on password protected files and any hard copy files are secured from unauthorised access.
