ARIA and Virgin Australia Announce Melbourne Musician, Singer, Songwriter, Producer and Drummer, G Flip, as the recipient of the ARIA Emerging Artist Scholarship Presented By Virgin Australia

ARIA in partnership with Virgin Australia are proud to present the second ARIA Emerging Artist Scholarship to Melbourne’s Musician, singer, songwriter, producer and drummer, G Flip.
 
Courtesy of Virgin Australia, G Flip will receive travel support for both domestic and international legs of her 2019 world tour.
 
2018 has been a huge year for G Flip, who has been recognised as one of this year’s breakout stars globally and at home. March 2018 marked the release of her debut single ‘About You’ which went on to peak at #26 on the ARIA Australian Artist Singles Chart, followed by her second single ‘Killing My Time’ which peaked at #11 on the ARIA Australian Artist Singles Chart.
 
The Scholarship focuses on helping emerging artists take the next step in their local and global touring career and was open to any Australian artist (represented by a current ARIA member) that hasn’t been previously nominated for any ARIA Awards category with an Album or Single before the 2018 Awards (ie 2018 entrants / nominees are eligible).
