The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) is thrilled to welcome Australian radio personality and television presenter Myf Warhurst to host the 40th anniversary ARIA Hall of Fame event on Thursday, 11 June 2026 at Sydney’s Carriageworks on Gadigal land.
Marking a historic first for the ARIA Hall of Fame, the special standalone event will be broadcast nationally via the ABC at 9.15pm, Saturday 13 June on ABC Entertains and ABC iview.
Beloved broadcaster and lifelong music champion Myf Warhurst will bring her signature warmth, wit and deep passion for Australian music to one of the industry’s most celebratory nights. A trusted and familiar voice across radio and television, Myf is one of Australia's most respected music personalities, making her the ideal host to honour six iconic artists whose music has helped shape the soundtrack of Australian music.
This year’s ARIA Hall of Fame inductees are Gurrumul, Jenny Morris, Kate Ceberano, Spiderbait, The Living End, and Vika & Linda, marking a milestone year as ARIA celebrates the 40th anniversary of the ARIA Awards in partnership with Spotify.
The evening will include a series of electrifying live performances celebrating the enduring legacies and unmistakable impact of this year’s inductees, bringing together some of Australia’s most iconic voices and bands for a night charged with nostalgia, energy and pure rock and roll spirit.
The evening will include a series powerhouse sets spanning the defining hits, anthems and career-defining moments and reflections that have shaped generations of Australian music fans: from the raw energy of Spiderbait and The Living End, to the legendary vocals of Kate Ceberano and the soul-stirring harmonies of Vika & Linda.
The night will also include a moving celebration of Gurrumul, where members of his family will dance Djarimirri: sharing living culture with dance and continuing the storytelling traditions carried through Gurrumul’s music alongside special performances from Dan Sultan, Mia Wray and Kate Miller-Heidke celebrating the iconic catalogue of Jenny Morris.
Spanning generations and genres, the performances will honour the profound contribution each artist has made to Australian music and culture, bringing together some of the country’s most celebrated voices and songs that have left an indelible mark on Australian music history, marking 40 years of the ARIA Awards.
The 2026 inductees will join a distinguished lineage that includes You Am I, Jet, Missy Higgins, AC/DC, Tina Arena, Cold Chisel, Kylie MInogue, Yothu Yindi, Jimmy Barnes, Kasey Chambers, Olivia Newton John, INXS, Crowded House, Archie Roach, Human Nature and many more as outlined in the digital timeline.
Established in 1987, the ARIA Awards have long represented the highest honour in Australian music, recognising the artists, creators and industry leaders who have shaped the nation’s cultural identity. The 2026 celebration will commemorate four decades of innovation, storytelling and global impact, highlighting the enduring strength and diversity of Australia’s music industry.

The 2026 ARIA Awards in partnership with Spotify will return on Wednesday, 18 November at Sydney’s Horden Pavilion to celebrate the very best of Australian music on its biggest global stage to date. Australian music’s night of nights will stream live on Paramount+ and also return to Network 10.
