Michael Bublé’s Christmas moves up from #5 to hit its highest peak for 2021. This week marks the 2011 album’s 65th week in the ARIA Top Ten.
The week’s highest re-entry comes at #15 for Tame Impala’s ARIA Award-winning 2015 album Currents after a surge in vinyl sales. The Perth act’s third studio album has notched up 42 weeks in the Top 50.
The soundtrack to Sing 2 makes its debut on this week’s Albums Chart at #23, five years on from the original movie’s soundtrack. The album includes an original song by U2, ‘Your Song Saved My Life’, plus performances by Taron Egerton, Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson and many more. The soundtrack to the original Sing film peaked at #2 in January 2017.
Featuring original songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the soundtrack to new Disney animated film Encanto makes its chart debut at #29. Featuring songs in both English and Spanish, the album includes performances from Stephanie Beatriz, John Leguizamo, Rhenzy Feliz, Carolina Gaitán and Diane Guerrero, among others.
