Tones And I holds #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for a seventh straight week with ‘Dance Monkey’. She now equals the record for most weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart by an Australian female solo artist, joining Kylie Minogue’s ‘Locomotion’ (#1 Aug. ’87). ‘Dance Monkey’ is getting towards breaking record for most weeks at #1 on the Singles Chart by an Australian artist, currently held by Justice Crew with Que Sera (#1 May 2014), at nine weeks.
The track has had considerable success overseas, including hitting #1 in Denmark, Finland, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway and Sweden. It’s also hit the Top Ten in Austria, Germany, Hungary and Switzerland.
Hitting #1 on the Albums Chart with Hollywood’s Bleeding, Post Malone scores two tracks in this week’s Top Five. A week after debuting at #5, ‘Circles’ moves up three spots to #2, becoming the American hip hop artist’s seventh single to peak in the Top Two. ‘Goodbyes’ jumps up six spots to return to its debut position of #5.
#17: Post Malone ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ – Post Malone takes out 13 entries in this week’s Top 50, including nine debuts. The title track to Hollywood’s Bleeding is the highest debut at #17; it’s joined by ‘Saint-Tropez’ (#19), ‘Die For Me’ (#23), ‘Enemies’ (#28), ‘Take What You Want’ (#30), ‘On The Road’ (#35), ‘A Thousand Bad Times’ (#39), ‘Allergic’ (#45) and ‘Staring At The Sun’ (#48).
#42: Camila Cabello ‘Liar’ – Ahead of the release of her second solo album, Camila Cabelo hits the chart with ‘Liar’. It was one of two tracks released by the Cuban-American artist this week, along with ‘Shameless’. Both will feature on the album, Romance, which is expected to be released before the end of 2019. Cabello is also at #3 this week with her duet with Shawn Mendes, ‘Señorita’; it’s the track’s twelfth week in the Top Ten.
