It has now spent a massive 22 weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart, 7 weeks more than Ed Sheeran, whose track ‘Shape Of You’ previously held the record at 15 weeks. Her newest single ‘Never Seen The Rain’ is also back in the Top Ten, sitting at #8. Her EP The Kids Are Coming is #7 in the ARIA Albums Chart, and she is the highest charting Australian in both charts.
#7: The Weeknd ‘Blinding Lights’ –
The latest single from The Weeknd hits a new peak this week, landing at #7, beating its previous peak of #9. The Canadian pop star last hit the Top Ten with 'Call Out My Name' (#3, Apr ’18). ‘Blinding Lights’ is expected to be included on his upcoming fourth album.
#13: Trevor Daniel ‘Falling’ –
First released in 2018, ‘Falling’ by US newcomer Trevor Daniel is proving to be a viral hit. First breaking through on TikTok, the track has climbed the charts worldwide. It entered the ARIA Singles Chart for the first time three weeks ago and hits a new peak this week at #13.
#34: Benee ‘Glitter’ (debut) –
Singer Benee is already a star in her native New Zealand, where her second single ‘Glitter’ peaked at #7 in 2019. She enters the ARIA Singles Chart for the first time and is the highest charting new entry this week.
