Florence + The Machine’s sixth album, Everybody Scream, debuts at #4. All six have landed in the top 10: Lungs (#3 in 2009), Ceremonials (#1 in 2011), How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful (#1 in 2015), High As Hope (#2 in 2018), Dance Fever (#2 in 2022) and now Everybody Scream.
The release of a deluxe version of Tyler, The Creator’s Chromokopia sends it bouncing back up the chart from #54 to #5. It spent two weeks at #1 in late 2024.
The 20th anniversary edition of Bernard Fanning’s Tea & Sympathy debuts at #7 on the main ARIA Albums Chart, #1 on the Australian Albums Chart, #1 on the Vinyl Chart and #1 on the On Replay Albums Chart.
Tea & Sympathy was Bernard’s first #1 solo album, spending one week on top in late 2005. He also reached #1 in 2013 with Departures, #2 with Civil Dusk in 2016 and #2 in 2017 with Brutal Dawn. As part of Powderfinger, he scored six #1 albums. His side project with Paul Dempsey, The Deluge, peaked at #3 last year.
WA rock band Cloning are new at #12 with their debut album Vitriol. Their national tour kicks off in late November.
As Radiohead prepare for a UK tour later this year, Hail To The Chief Live Recordings 2003-2009 enters the chart at #15. The studio version of Hail To The Chief reached #2 in 2003.
Victoria’s The Belair Lip Bombs are new at #25 with Again. It’s their second album and first chart ink.
Headwreck’s Attitude Adjustment debuts at #43. It’s the Brisbane nu-metal band’s first full-length album and first time on the ARIA charts.
On the Singles Chart, Taylor Swift’s The Fate Of Ophelia holds at #1 for the fifth consecutive week. It’s her 13th chart-topper and second longest running one: Anti-Hero spent six weeks at #1 in 2022.
Raye returns to the top 10 as Where Is My Husband? moves from #13 to #10. It’s her third visit: she reached #3 in 2022 with Escapism (featuring 070 Shake) and #3 again in 2023 with Prada (with Casso and D-Block Europe).
The start of Oasis’ Australian tour sees (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? Climb from #4 to #2 on the On Replay Albums Chart, while Definitely Maybe (30th Anniversary Edition) soars from #58 to #3. Teddy Swims holds at #1 on the On Replay Singles Chart with Lose Control.
