Miley Cyrus releases her seventh studio album Plastic Hearts. The album features collaborations with Joan Jett and Billy Idol, as well as the singles ‘Midnight Sky’ (#12 Nov ’20) and ‘Prisoner’ which is a duet with Dua Lipa.

Taylor Swift releases the live album Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions. Coming out to coincide with the Disney+ special of the same name, the album includes all of the tracks from Swift’s surprise 2020 album Folklore (#1 Aug. ’20).

Powderfinger release Unreleased, their first album of new material in over a decade. It sees the Brisbane rock legends dip into their archive to bring together a collection of songs from 1998 to 2010 that didn’t make it out at the time. It includes the single ‘Day By Day’.

American alt-rock veterans the Smashing Pumpkins release their eleventh studio album CYR. The album is the second release since the return of original members James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin to the line-up and includes singles ‘Cyr’, ‘The Colour of Love’, ‘Birch Grove’ and ‘Wyttch’. 

Take That’s Gary Barlow releases his fifth solo album Music Played By Humans. It comes seven years after Barlow’s last solo album Since I Saw You Last and includes collaborations with Michael Bublé, James Corden and Sebastian Yatra.

British pop group Steps return with What the Future Holds. The quintet’s sixth album features the title track that was co-written by ARIA Award-winner Sia.

American metalcore band Hatebreed return with eighth studio album Weight of the False Self. It comes four years on from The Concrete Confessional.
