It's almost the end of 2020 but there's still some fine new music to get your ears around.

Paul McCartney - McCartney III

The beyond legendary Paul McCartney returns with 18th solo album, McCartney III. Recorded in lockdown, it features the former Beatle and Wings singer-songwriter playing and singing almost every note himself, much like previous albums McCartney (1970) and McCartney II (1980).

Taylor Swift - Evermore

Taylor Swift has made habit of doing album sudden drops, but it’s only this week that her latest release Evermore is released on CD. There’s also a deluxe CD version with bonus tracks. A deluxe vinyl version won’t come until 2021.

Drive By Truckers - The New OK

American rockers Drive By Truckers release their second album for 2020 (and their 13th overall). Having cancelled extensive touring plans, the band returned to the studio to create a more upbeat album than their politically-fiery The Unravelling.

Hans Zimmer - Wonder Woman 1984

The legendary Hans Zimmer joins the Wonder Woman franchise, providing the score to the new Wonder Woman 1984. He’s won Grammy Awards for his previous DC work with The Dark Knight in 2008.

ARIA Award-winning Julia Stone joins the rush of Christmas releases with a new EP of festive classics like 'Santa Claus Is Coming To Town' and Joni Mitchell’s classic 'River'.
