ARIA is committed to protecting your privacy and handling all personal information collected in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Collection Statement explains the personal information ARIA will collect in this ticket purchasing form and in respect of your attendance at the Event, the purpose of its collection and how it will be handled by ARIA.
Type of Information
As part of the process to purchase tickets to the 2026 ARIA Innovator conference (the Event), ARIA will request and collect personal information about you, including your name, mailing address, other contact details, and payment information (such as credit cards details). ARIA will also collect sensitive information about you, including your age and cultural and ethnic background.
PURPOSE and USE
The ticketing form will enable persons to purchase tickets and attend the Event. The ticketing form requests certain personal (including sensitive) information from you to assist ARIA in carrying out the following primary functions:
to process payments for, and deliver tickets to persons to attend the Event;
to answer queries and process refunds for the tickets to the Event;
to contact attendees with news related to the Event;
to provide attendees with information about ARIA and relevant music industry matters;
to compile and publish aggregate statistics regarding the demographics of attendees for the purposes of research, analysis and reporting. From time to time, ARIA may publish and share materials with relevant stakeholders and the media. In this instance, all personal and sensitive information will be in aggregate form and anonymised.
If you do not want to share certain personal information with ARIA, please contact ARIA to discuss alternative options. If you choose not to share certain information with ARIA, please be aware it may not be possible for ARIA to process the application.
STORAGE
ARIA is utilising the Humanitix platform to facilitate the ticketing of the Event. Please refer to the Humanitix Privacy Policy for information about how it handles and uses your personal information.
Raw data and personal information collected via the Humanitix platform will be accessible by authorised ARIA personnel, who will only use this information for the approved purposes set out above and are bound by confidentiality constraints. ARIA will not provide the personal information collected from you to anyone else, unless otherwise indicated above, you have given consent for us to do this, or we are authorised or required to do so by law.
ARIA will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Your personal information will be stored on a password protected database and password protected files which are secured from unauthorised access.
