Björk releases her tenth studio album and first in five years, Fossora. The previously released title track was self produced and features Indonesian producer and DJ Kasimyn. On Fossora, Björk says, “The album was also inspired by the global population’s pandemic experience: 7 billion of us did it together/nesting in our homes quarantining/being long enough in one place that we shot down roots”. Her second record Post went platinum and debuted at #2 on the ARIA Albums Chart in 1995.

Kid Cudi drops tenth studio album Entergalactic. The record features contributions from the likes of Don Toliver, Steve Aoki and Ty Dolla $ign and doubles as the soundtrack to Kid Cudi's brand new animated Netflix series Entergalactic, seeing Kid Cudi voice main character Jabari. “Entergalactic is everything I’ve always wanted to do, create a long-form visual companion to an album,” he explains.

Alt Rock cult classics, Pixies release their eighth studio album Doggerel, produced by Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Rammstein, Royal Blood, Killing Joke, Opeth, The Damned). The body see's Pixies shift sonically on which the band state, “We’re trying to do things that are very big and bold and orchestrated”. Previous record Indie Cindy debuted at #21 on the ARIA Albums Chart in 2014.

British rapper and singer, Shygirl drops her debut album Nymph. The record features contributions from Mura Masa, Arca, Sega Bodega, BloodPop®, Vegyn, Danny L Harle, Kingdom, and more. Nymph includes previously released track, Firefly which dropped alongside a music video directed by Mischa Notcutt and Shygirl herself.

American heavy metal band, Slipknot release The End, So Far, their seventh studio album to date. The nine piece band have debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with their previous records, .5: The Gray Chapter, All Hope Is Gone and We Are Not Your Kind.

Indie rock outfit, Yeah Yeah Yeahs release their fifth studio album and first in nine years, Cool It Down. The body includes previously released track Spitting Off The Edge of the World which features Perfume Genius. Yeah Yeah Yeahs have debuted in the Top #20 on the ARIA Albums Chart in 2013 with Mosquito and in 2006 with Show Your Bones.
