Drake releases his latest album, Certified Lover Boy. The Canadian rapper’s first studio album since Scorpion (#1 Jul ‘18) was first slated to be released in January of this year. The lead single from the album, the Lil Durk-featured ‘Laugh Now Cry Later’ (#3 Aug. ‘20), was released a year ago.
Imagine Dragons release their fifth album, Mercury – Act 1. The follow-up to Origins (#4 Nov. ‘18) features production work from Joel Little and Rick Rubin. All of the band’s previous four studio albums have peaked at #4 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
British rapper, singer and actress Little Simz releases her fourth studio album Sometimes I Might Be Introvert. Two years after the release of the Mercury Prize-nominated Grey Area, the album has been preceded by four singles: 'Introvert’ , ‘Woman’, ‘Rollin Stone’, and ‘I Love You, I Hate You’.
Welsh rock band Manic Street Preachers release their fourteenth studio album, The Ultra Vivid Lament. It follows three years after their album Resistance Is Futile. The new album features the single ‘Orwellian’ which was released earlier this year.
English heavy metal legends Iron Maiden release their seventeenth studio album, Senjutsu. It follows six years after The Book Of Souls (#2 Sept. ‘15) which reached #69 on the ARIA End Of Year Albums Chart. Two singles from the new album have been released: ‘The Writing On The Wall’ and ‘Stratego’.
Twelve-time Grammy Award winner Lady Gaga releases her third remix album, Dawn Of Chromatica: The Remix. It features remixes of songs from her sixth studio album, Chromatica (#1 Jun. ’20). Chromatica went on to reach #22 on the ARIA End Of Year Albums Chart the same year. The remix album features collaborations with artists Ariana Grande, Charlie XCX, Blackpink and Elton John.
