ARIA Hall Of Fame members Midnight Oil release their first new material since 2002, the mini-album The Makarrata Project. The seven-track release features a host of Indigenous artists including Jessica Mauboy, Dan Sultan, Kev Carmody, Frank Yamma and Troy Cassar-Daley. Midnight Oil last hit the chart with the live album Armistice Day: Live At The Domain, Sydney (#5 Nov. ’18).
Kate Miller-Heidke returns with Child in Reverse, her first album in six years. The ARIA-nominated singer-songwriter hit the Top Ten with her three previous studio albums.
Ariana Grande will be aiming for her fifth #1 album on the ARIA Charts with Positions. Proceeded by the title track a week before, Grande’s sixth album includes collaborations with The Weeknd, Doja Cat and Ty Dolla Sign.
English singer-songwriter Sam Smith releases third album Love Goes. It comes three years on from The Thrill Of It All (#2 Nov. ’17) and features the singles ‘I’m Ready’ (#25 Apr. ’20) and ‘Diamonds’ (#46 Oct. ’20).
Bring Me the Horizon release the EP Post Human: Survival Horror. The British metalcore band’s last four studio albums hit #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
Mackay singer-songwriter Tia Gostelow releases her second album, Chrysalis. It appears two years after her debut album, Thick Skin, and includes a collaboration with Holy Holy on the track ‘Always’.
