Indie singer-songwriter Riley Pearce releases his debut studio album The Water & The Rough. Recorded in a house Pearce rented on the southwest coast of Australia, listeners can hear the sounds of floorboards, mallets thumped on a couch, crackling of fire and wheels on a gravel road in the recording, a deliberate decison from Pearce who wanted to 'let the sounds of the house and the environment filter in'. the recording.
