It’s three weeks in a row at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart for Olivia Rodrigo’s “You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love”.
English rock band Muse arrive at #2 with their 10th studio album, “The Wow! Signal”. All 10 have reached the top 30, including seven top 10 results: “Black Holes and Revelations” (#1 in 2006), “The Resistance” (#1 in 2009), “The 2nd Law” (#2 in 2012), “Drones” (#1 in 2015), “Simulation Theory” (#7 in 2018), “Will Of The People” (#1 in 2022) and the new album.
The Pretty Reckless land at #7 with “Dear God”. It’s the US rock band’s fourth top 50 album following “Going To Hell” (#20 in 2014), “Who You Selling For” (#33 in 2016) and “Death By Rock And Roll” (#15 in 2021).
Brisbane’s Kita Alexander debuts at #11 on the Albums Chart, #1 on the Australian Albums Chart and #8 on the Vinyls Chart with her second album, “Rage”. Her first album, “Young In Love”, peaked at #61 in 2024.
Four-time ARIA Award winner Katie Noonan debuts at #20 on the Albums Chart and #2 on the Australian Albums Chart with her 30th studio album, “Alone But All One”. As member of George, she hit #1 in 2002 with “Polyserena” and #5 in 2004 with “Unity”. Her most successful solo album was “Skin”, which reached #6 in 2007.
WA-born Go-Jo arrives at #48 with his debut album, “The Go-Jo Variety Show”. He represented Australia in the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest but missed out on competing in the grand final. The album also debuts at #4 on the Australian Albums Chart.
American country star Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” reclaims the #1 spot for its fourth non-consecutive week on top of the Singles Chart. The follow-up single, “Be Her”, peaked at #28 earlier this year and is at #32 this week.
Female artists have held the #1 spot every week so far in 2026 (including Olivia Dean’s collaboration with Sam Fender, “Rein Me In”). The last time a solo male artist was at the chart summit was in late July last year, when Justin Bieber’s “Daisies” spent one week on top.
The halo of the biopic “Michael” continues, with Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” holding firm at #1 on the On Replay Albums Chart and “Billie Jean” #1 on the On Replay Singles Chart.
