Debuts for DJ Khaled, Macklemore, Jennifer Hudson and more!
For the sixth consecutive week, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee and their track ‘Despacito’ hold #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. The Justin Bieber-featured song has also notched up its sixth week at #1 in the US.
Liam Payne’s ‘Strip That Down’ jumps up a further spots to hit a new peak of #2 in its fifth week in the chart.
After dropping to #5 last week, Niall Horan’s ‘Slow Hands’ moves back up two spots this week to return to its previous peak of #3.
With Lorde’s second album Melodrama debuting at #1 on this week’s ARIA Albums Chart, the album’s first single ‘Green Light’ has jumped back up 12 spots to #15. It’s the single’s sixteenth week in the top 50.

#4: DJ Khaled Feat. Rihanna & Bryson Tiller ‘Wild Thoughts’ – DJ Khaled follows up ‘I'm the One’ (#1 May ’17) with ‘Wild Thoughts’. It’s the second track to chart in the top 50 from the American artist’s just-released tenth album Grateful and features Rihanna and rapper Bryson Tiller.
#34: Macklemore Feat. Skylar Grey ‘Glorious’ – American rapper Macklemore takes a break from his partnership with Ryan Lewis to go solo with ‘Glorious’. Featuring Skylar Grey, it’s the first track from Macklemore’s forthcoming second solo album; his first in 12 years.
#35: Calvin Harris Feat. Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry & Big Sean ‘Feels’ – With Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 out next week (30 June), Calvin Harris scores a fourth Singles Chart entry from it with ‘Feels’. Featuring Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean, it’s the follow-up to ‘Rollin’ (#40 May ’17), ‘Heatstroke’ (#23 Apr. ’17) and ‘Slide’ (#11 Mar. ’17).
#41: Jennifer Hudson ‘Remember Me’ – With the first single from her forthcoming fourth album, American artist Jennifer Hudson makes her lead artist debut in the ARIA top 50. Hudson, who is also known for her roles in Dreamgirls, Smash and Empire, has previously appeared on the chart as a featured artist on David Guetta’s ‘Night Of Your Life’ (#37 Aug. ’11) and Iggy Azalea’s ‘Trouble’ (#10 Mar. ’15).
#50: Sam Hunt ‘Body Like A Back Road’ – American country artist Sam Hunt picks up his top 50 debut on the ARIA Singles Chart. ‘Body Like A Back Road’ comes from Hunt’s forthcoming second album, the follow-up to 2014’s Montevallo.
