English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran tops the ARIA Albums Chart this week with his third studio album ‘÷’ (pronounced "divide"). It is his third album to reach #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. In addition, Ed Sheeran’s previous albums also make their way back up the chart – ‘X’ moves up 3 spots to #3 and ‘+’ jumps 13 places to #4.
With Adele currently touring the country, each of her three album releases continue to make their way back up the album chart – ‘25’ is up one spot from last week to #2, ‘21’ jumps five spots from last week to #5 and ‘19’ jumps eight to #12.
With Justin Bieber’s Australian tour also up and running, his #1 charting album ‘Purpose’ (#1 Nov. ’15) jumps back into the Top 50 ARIA Albums Chart for a 49th week.
The soundtrack to The Secret Daughter by Jessica Mauboy jumps eleven spots to #33.
Cold Chisel’s Best Of Collection ‘All For You’ continues its climb back up the chart to #34.
Also re-entering the top 50 is Train’s ‘A Girl, A Bottle, A Boat’, Taylor Swift’s ‘1989’ and James Arthur’s ‘Back From The Edge’

He previously topped the chart with ‘+’ (#1 Aug. ’12) and ‘x’ (#1 Jun. ’14). The album includes singles ‘Shape Of You’ (#1 Jan. ’17), ‘Castle On The Hill’ (#2 Jan. ’17) and ‘How Would You Feel (Paean)’ (#2 Feb. ’17).
#8: All Our Exes Live in Texas ‘When We Fall’ – Australian folk group All Our Exes Live in Texas make their first appearance on ARIA Album Chart with their debut album ‘When We Fall’.
#10: Kingswood ‘After Hours, Close To Dawn’ – Album number two for Melbournian rock band Kingswood. The band have previously charted with ‘Microscopic Wars’ (#6 Sept. ’14)
#16: Methyl Ethel ‘Everything Is Forgotten’ – Perth trio Methyl Ethel make their top 50 ARIA Album Chart debut with their second album ‘Everything Is Forgotten’.
