Peach PRC breaks into the Top 5

Olivia Dean stands tall on the albums and singles charts

Peach PRC breaks into the Top 5

Adelaide pop star Peach PRC arrives in the top five of the ARIA Albums Chart this week, while Olivia Dean’s dominance of the albums and singles charts rolls on.

Peach PRC’s Porcelain is new at #4, giving her two top five results in a row; it also takes the #1 spot on the Australian Albums Chart and #4 on the Vinyl Albums Chart. Her 2023 EP, Manic Dream Pixie, spent one week at #1 on the main chart in 2023 and she scored three nominations at the 2023 ARIA Awards.

Olivia Dean reclaims the top spot on the albums chart, as The Art Of Loving steps back up from #2 to #1. It has now spent 11 non-consecutive weeks at the summit since early October.

Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy lands his third top 50 album, with The Weight Of The Woods new at #17 (it tops the Vinyl Albums Chart). He reached #37 in 2019 with Without Fear and #14 in 2022 with Sonder

Canadian rock duo Angine de Poitrine score their first chart ink with Vol. II, new at #21. The anonymous duo perform in oversized papier-mache masks and polka-dotted costumes.

On the singles chart, Olivia Dean replaces herself at #1, again, as Man I Need unseats Rein Me In, her duet with Sam Fender, which ruled for one week and slips to #2 this week.

Man I Need has now been #1 for 20 non-consecutive weeks. Four more weeks and it will tie with Tones and I’s 2019-20 smash Dance Monkey for the title of the longest running #1 single of all time in Australia.

American country star Ella Langley’s Choosin’ Texas darts from #10 to #4. The official video dropped last week starring Langley, fellow country star Miranda Lambert (who co-wrote the song), Yellowstone star Luke Grimes and Ava Phillippe, the daughter of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe.

Meanwhile, Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours holds at #1 on the ARIA On Replay Albums Chart and Dominic Fike’s Babydoll performs the same feat on the singles chart.
