Six weeks at #1 for Lukas Graham’s 7 Years

It’s week six at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart for Danes Lukas Graham and their track ‘7 Years’. The single is now one week away from equalling the longest run at #1 by a Danish act, currently held by Aqua’s ‘Doctor Jones’ (#1 Dec. 97).

After being certified Gold earlier in the week, Fifth Harmony’s ‘Work At Home’ has jumped three spots to sit in the top three for the first time.

A move up from #14 for ‘Dance Off’ gives Macklemore & Ryan Lewis their fifth Singles Chart top ten.

There’s also moves up the chart for Mike Posner’s ‘I Took A Pill In Ibiza’ (up 5 to #12), Disturbed’s ‘The Sound Of Silence’ (up 9 to #23), The Chainsmokers’ ‘Don’t Let Me Down’ (up 20 to #25) and Alessia Cara’s ‘Wild Things’ (up 16 to #27).

Debuts:

#37: Tinie Tempah Feat. Zara Larsson ‘Girls Like’ – British rapper Tinie Tempah returns to the chart with his forthcoming third album’s second single ‘Girls Like’. It’s the follow-up to ‘Not Letting Go’ (#24 Aug. ’15) and features Swedish singer-songwriter Zara Larsson. Larsson recently charted with ‘Lush Life’ (#4 Jan. ’16).

#41: Justin Bieber ‘Company’ – Justin Bieber picks up his first new Singles Chart entry for 2016 with ‘Company’. It’s the seventh track to chart from the album Purpose (#1 Nov. ’15), following on from ‘What Do You Mean?’ (#1 Sept. ’15), ‘Sorry’ (#2 Nov. ’15), ‘I'll Show You’ (#16 Nov. ’15), ‘Love Yourself’ (#1 Dec. ’15), ‘The Feeling’ (#22 Nov. ’15) and ‘Purpose’ (#40 Nov. ’15).

#46: Dua Lipa ‘Be The One’ – The debut ARIA top 50 appearance for English-Albanian singer, songwriter Dua Lipa. ‘Be The One’ comes from her forthcoming debut album. It has already charted in a number of European countries.
