On top of scoring her ninth #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart, Taylor Swift has swept into the top spot of this week’s ARIA Singles Chart with ‘All Too Well (Taylor's Version)’. The singer-songwriter released two versions as part of the re-recording package of Red (Taylor’s Version), the original and a 10-minute version. The original track didn’t chart in the Top 50 in Australia when it was released in 2012. It becomes Swift’s eighth #1 single in Australia after ‘Love Story’ (#1 Mar. ’09), ‘Shake It Off’ (#1 Sept. ’14), ‘Blank Space’ (#1 Nov. ’14), ‘Bad Blood’ (#1 Jun. ’15), ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ (#1 Sept. ’17), ‘Cardigan’ (# Aug. ’20) and ‘Willow’ (#1 Dec. ’20).
On the back of the release of Red (Taylor’s Version), Swift has twelve tracks in this week’s Top 50; ‘All Too Well (Taylor's Version), the album’s title track (#12), ‘Run (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault)’ (#19), ‘I Knew You Were Trouble (Taylor's Version)’ (#21), ‘State Of Grace (Taylor's Version)’ (#25), ‘22 (Taylor's Version)’ (#27), ‘Nothing New (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault)’ (#31), ‘Message In A Bottle (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault)’ (#33), ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (Taylor's Version)’ (#34), ‘Treacherous (Taylor's Version)’ (#38), ‘I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor's Version) (From The Vault)’ (#43) and ‘I Almost Do (Taylor's Version)’ (#45).
This is the fourth time Swift has held #1 on the Albums and Singles charts in the same week. She’s also done it with 1989 and ‘Blank Space’ (1/12/2014), folklore and ‘Cardigan’ (3/08/2020), and evermore and 'Willow' (21/12/2020).
