Innovator Ticketing T&Cs

TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL ARIA Innovator EVENT TICKETS AND ATTENDEES

 Australian Recording Industry Association Ltd (ABN 72 002 692 944) (ARIA) is the seller of the tickets for the 2026 ARIA Innovator event. These Terms & Conditions relate to the sale of tickets and/or attendance at the 2026 ARIA Innovator event (the Event). Please read these Terms & Conditions before purchasing or accepting any tickets for the Event. By purchasing or accepting tickets, you and any ticket holders confirm that they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and any terms and conditions published by Humanitix on its website.

Digital Tickets

ARIA will be utilising the services of Humanitix Limited (ABN 32 618 780 439) (Humanitix) in order to facilitate the purchasing and processing of tickets, and for the purposes of verifying and facilitating entry to the Event. Tickets will be delivered to ticket purchasers via email.

Purchasing Conditions

  1. All tickets purchased or issued for the Event are subject to these Terms & Conditions, the ARIA Innovator Tickets Refund Policy, 2026 ARIA Innovator Event Ticketing – PRIVACY COLLECTION STATEMENT,  ARIA Privacy Policy, and Humanitix’s Attendee Terms of Use (hyperlinked).
  2. Payment must be made at the time of placing your order. No tickets will be held by ARIA.
  3. Ticket purchasers are unable to select specific seats to purchase.
  4. To reduce the incidence of fraud, ARIA reserves the right to: (i) undertake verification checks and/or request additional information in relation to any ticket purchases; and (ii) not process or cancel any ticket purchase orders that ARIA reasonably suspects have been made fraudulently or in circumstances where you have not provided the requested additional information. ARIA may do this without any notice to you.
  5. Tickets purchased during presale periods are strictly limited to eligible purchasers as defined by ARIA (e.g., ARIA members or other specified groups). ARIA reserves the right to cancel, without notice or refund, any tickets purchased by individuals who do not meet the stated eligibility requirements or if the access code is used by purchasers other than the designated eligible persons. 
  6. All ticket purchase orders will be processed subject to approval by your payment provider. ARIA has no liability to you in relation to you not being able to purchase tickets to the Event.
  7. Payment must be made in Australian dollars only via the Humanitix platform in accordance with their payment terms and conditions. ARIA does not accept direct payments or payments.
  8. Accessibility and special needs ticket holders may be entitled to one additional ticket for an accompanying patron/carer at a discounted price. Please contact ariainnovator@aria.com.au if you wish to enquire about purchasing a ticket for companion seating and to check about eligibility. You may be required to provide the relevant concession/accessibility documentation prior to purchase and upon entry into the Event.

 

General Terms and Conditions

  1. By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Event, all ticket holders agree to the State Library of NSW’s Reader and Visitor Code of Conduct (available at: https://www.sl.nsw.gov.au/about/policies-and-publications/legislation-and-policies/reader-and-visitor-code-conduct). Staff at the venue and ARIA reserve the right to refuse entry to, or to remove from the Event and venue any attendees:
  • whose conduct is unlawful or offensive;
  • who display or wear any signage, banners, symbols, flags, posters or slogans containing offensive, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate language, symbols or imagery;
  • who display or wear any commercial or political materials, slogans or imagery;
  • who attempt to distribute, offer or make available any goods or marketing, political or other materials at the Event; or
  • who are otherwise not entitled to attend the Event.

 

  1. Bags and other items may be subject to inspection and attendees may be searched. Ticket holders and any persons who refuse inspections or searches may be denied entry to the Event. Items which, in the opinion of security staff, ARIA or the venue, have the potential to cause injury, offence or a nuisance or inconvenience to any other person will not be permitted into the Event. These include controlled, dangerous or illegal substances, alcohol and weapons of any description and any other items considered to have the potential to cause injury or a nuisance, offence or inconvenience to any other person.
  2. All ticket holders and attendees at the Event agree to the comply with the ARIA Behaviour Benchmark and the ARIA Code of Conduct as hyperlinked in these Terms and Conditions and published on the ARIA website.
  3. Tickets cannot be resold, offered for resale or used for any incentives, promotions, advertising or competitions without the express prior written permission of ARIA. ARIA may cancel any tickets that breach this condition.
  4. Ticket holders must be aged over 18 years as at the date of the Event.
  5. Ticket prices for the Event are as published on the Event page on the Humanitix website. The ticket prices will vary depending on when you purchase the ticket (for example during a presale or at general release). No refunds or credits will be offered for price differences after purchase.
  6. ARIA reserves the right to vary or substitute speakers or other persons that are scheduled to appear at the Event and to vary seating arrangements at the venue. Ticket purchasers are not entitled to a refund due to changes in the lineup of the scheduled speakers or participants at the Event.
  7. Please look after the digital ticket issued to you. If you have lost your ticket, please visit the Humanitix website for information about resending tickets. Tickets may only be reissued if the authenticity of the ticket can be verified and if you provide reasonable notice prior to the Event. Please retain your digital ticket with you for the duration of the Event.
  8. Entry into the Event may be denied if the legitimacy of the ticket cannot be verified (eg. if the ticket has been copied, damaged, altered, counterfeit or otherwise invalid).
  9. Ticket holders will need to comply with the venue’s requirements regarding bags and large items (eg large bags, backpacks etc) at the Event. Please refer to the venue’s Reader and Visitor Code of Conduct (https://www.sl.nsw.gov.au/about/policies-and-publications/legislation-and-policies/reader-and-visitor-code-conduct).
  10. All ticket holders/attendees agree that the Event will be recorded and photographers will be at the Event. As the Event will be filmed and photographers will be at the Event: (i) each ticket holder/attendee agrees that their likeness, voice and/or image may be photographed and/or filmed at the Event and ticket holders/attendees consent to such photographs and recordings and the ticket holder/attendee’s name being used by ARIA and its licensees, in any media, world wide and in perpetuity; and (ii) ticket holders/attendees must follow the reasonable instructions issued by ARIA, venue staff and security at the Event.
  11. Professional cameras and video/audio recording equipment is prohibited at the Event. Flash photography is not permitted. Any images or video captured at the Event that are captured with a camera, mobile phone or other wireless device cannot be used for any purpose other than for private, domestic purposes and/or non-commercial purposes. Ticket holders must not license, sell, publish or otherwise commercially exploit photographs or video captured at the Event or use such content to promote brands, products or services without the prior written consent of ARIA.
  12. Mobile phones and other telecommunications devices must be on silent during the Event.
  13. Ticket holders must bring approved photographic identification to the Event. Approved photographic identification, includes:                                                                                                                                            
  • A current driver’s or rider’s license or permit (issued by an Australian State or Territory or any foreign country)
  • A current Australian passport or a current foreign passport issued by another country
  • A current proof of age card issued by a public authority of the Commonwealth or of an Australian State or Territory for the purpose of attesting to a person’s identity and age.

 

Copies or photographs of identification will not be accepted. Any attendee who does not have valid photographic identification or insufficient photographic identification will not be permitted to enter the Event.                     

 

  1. If any ticket holder arrives late to the Event, every effort will be made to allow that person to enter, but it is possible that person may not be admitted until a suitable break in the Event proceedings.
  2. A ticket holder may be denied entry into or removed from the Event where ARIA or the venue has reasonable grounds to do so, including where a ticket holder breaches these Terms & Conditions.
  3. The possession and/or use of illicit substances is prohibited throughout the Event. Please refer to the ARIA Behaviour Benchmark in relation to the policy on the use and possession of illicit substances at the Event.
  4. ARIA and the venue caterers do not guarantee that any food or beverages served at the Event are free from allergens (including without limitation nuts, dairy, gluten). ARIA and the venue caterers cannot guarantee that all dietary and allergen requirements will be met or the complete absence of allergens or cross-contamination. Ticket holders with severe allergies or food intolerances must take all necessary precautions. Neither ARIA nor the event caterers accept any liability if ticket holders have not taken the necessary precautions. By attending and consuming food and beverages at the Event, attendees accept full responsibility for their own dietary requirements and specifications.
  5. A ticket holder will be not entitled to receive a refund if they breach these Terms & Conditions (including to avoid doubt if the ticket holder is denied entry or removed from the venue).
  6. Risks: All attendees at the Event acknowledge that there may be risks associated with attending the Event. These risks include (by way of example and without limitation), the risk of contracting viruses or ailments which may be transmitted where large numbers of people are in attendance. ARIA and the venue will take all reasonable measures to look after attendees at the Event, but all attendees accept the risks associated with attending the Event. In order to minimise the risks, all attendees must follow the safety protocols in place at the Event and follow all guidance (including public health orders and recommendations) relating to the transmission of viruses and communicable diseases. By attending the Event, all Event attendees acknowledge and accept these risks (whether before, during or after the Event) in their personal capacity.
  7. Although all reasonable measures will be undertaken to safeguard attendees at the Event, illness or injury can occur. To the extent permitted by law, ARIA disclaims all liability for any loss, illness, injury or damage to any person or property at the Event.
  8. Liability: Unless required by applicable law, ARIA is not responsible or liable for any costs associated with travel, accommodation, loss of enjoyment or any other expenditure incurred by an attendee at the Event, even if such costs arise as a result of the cancellation, postponement/rescheduling or changes to the Event. In circumstances where liability cannot be excluded by law (including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL)), the maximum liability that ARIA will have to an Event ticket purchaser is the cost of the face value of the ticket purchased. These Terms & Conditions do not exclude, restrict or modify the application of any provision of the ACL, where to do so would either contravene the ACL or cause any part of these conditions to be void. Any provision of these conditions which is invalid must be read down to the minimum extent necessary to achieve its validity or be severed from these conditions without invalidating or affecting the remaining clauses in these conditions.
  9. Privacy: By purchasing a ticket to and/or attending the Event, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information by ARIA and Humanitix, and the disclosure of information between ARIA and Humanitix for the purposes of ticketing, Event production and management, Event safety, Event information, post-Event reporting (on an aggregated basis) and Event related surveys. ARIA and Humanitix may from time to time disclose your personal information to third party service providers, for example IT service providers, in order to facilitate the purchase, distribution and administration of the ticket. Humanitix’s Privacy and Cookies Policy is available at: https://static.humanitix.com/pdfs/privacy_and_cookie_policy.pdf. If you have any queries about the handling of your personal information, please contact ARIA at privacy.mail@aria.com.au . ARIA may also need to disclose your personal information to persons involved in the staging, production and operation of the Event. Please refer to and ARIA’s Privacy Policy for information about such disclosures.
  10. ARIA may vary these Terms & Conditions at any time by updating them on this weblink and/or the ARIA website. Any variations will only apply to ticket purchases made after these Terms & Conditions have been updated and will not apply retrospectively.
  11. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales.
